  16. I have been running NT 3.51 for some time now on a DX4-120 with
  17. 20 meg of ram, and i am quite happy with it.

  19. The last 6 months i have tried all systems which have come-up in this
  20. thread, and i basically have one remark to the people who have been
  21. mentioning Lynux. 
  22.  
  23. Lynux is great, but when using x-windows, which is the rightfull way
  24. to compare it with the other os's which are all graphical, don't fool
  25. yourself by saying it's memory requirements are low. With my 20mb, it
  26. was constantly swapping to my drive. ( running 2-3 apps )
  27.  
  28. So when comparing Lynux to graphical os's you should consider comparing
  29. it when it is running x-windows, and when you do, you are not realistic
  30. if you think it will run smoothly on a slow machine with 4mb of ram.
